Severka, in English 'Northern river' is the name of the river which flows along the village where I am from. Severka is where this book starts, dedicated to human memory and mysticism of the mind, it is an invitation to dream of warm and cold days.


Flowing slowly from South to North, the publication mirrors an imaginary journey to a place I have never been before, a region where my father is from - he always referred to it as only 'north'. 


The land resembles growth, death and renewal, always moving in a circle. The shift in between is a momentary vision, a semi-transparent matter, something elusive.
